Transfers
Interested in transferring into one of our B.S. degree programs? Be sure to check out the Virgina Tech transfer guide. If you were unable to obtain admission to Virginia Tech as a freshman, do not despair. Students wishing to transfer into the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences from Community Colleges throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia can now receive guaranteed admission as juniors. Requirements include completion of the associate's degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0, a signed letter of intent (complete early in your freshman year!), and the completion of specified curriculum to meet basic requirements in consultation with designated college advisors within Virginia Community College System (VCCS), and Virginia Tech (this is particularly important for our degrees). For more information, check out the articulation agreement webpage.
